MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Nov 03 Observer(s): Halpern and Schroeder Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: CCDS Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Fog from 7 pm until 1 am. Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing --- arcsec, Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds High Observing Summary: Acquired evening targets and then fog came in. Closed down dome for two hours. When humidity dropped below 80%, reopened dome and began observing. High clouds prevented a continuation of observing until 1 am. Conditions then improved enough to continue through the nights, but high winds caused a lot of movement. Closing the drop-out hatch helped. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2008 Nov 4 [6:34:38]
