MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Nov 04 Observer(s): Schroeder Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: CCDS Worked for 3 hours (off and on through the night) Bad weather most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity from 10 pm until 4 am. Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate Mid: Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: The night began overcast, but cleared up enough for approximately 20 minutes of observing. Then McGraw crashed and I could not find the documentation for how to turn on the TCS server. Instructions that Bob gave me over the phone are now posted on the bulletin board. A fog then set in. At about 5 am it finally fell to acceptable levels. There are light-leaks into the CCD that prevent us from taking dome flats. I started the process of identifying them through shining a torch on various parts. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2008 Nov 5 [6:37:26]
