MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Nov 06 Observer(s): Schroeder Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: CCDS Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Winds from 8 pm until 2 am. Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 2.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds High End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Tried and failed to solve the light-leak problem. If we cannot solve it, I will be unable to take dome flats. Is it possible to get a bluer flat lamp for the MIS? Night began windy and became windier. Had to shut the doors and the drop-out which caused the seeing to become quite bad. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2008 Nov 7 [6:30:09]
