MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Nov 07 Observer(s): Schroeder Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: CCDS Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Wrapping blankets around the CCDS in order to take dome flats may be a good idea, but it might be nice to get larger and thicker blankets for the job. The ones I was using needed to be taped together and didn't work exactly as hoped. I discovered the location on the CCDOPS window where it indicates what filter is being used. It's in the lower left corner and is nearly invisible. Jules and I couldn't find it for the two nights we tried. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2008 Nov 8 [6:17:19]
