MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Nov 14

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Winds from 7 pm until 12 am.
   Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds High
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Moderate to high winds in the beginning of the night ruined 
seeing. I had to close the doors and the drop out to stabilize 
the telescope.

There is a conflict between the dome menu and the home menu of
the GUI. If you select  Dome  on the  Home...  menu and 
 Home Dome  on the  Dome...  menu, the dome will spin around 
forever. We should let those two features talk to each other. 
Alternatively, we could disable/get rid of one of the two ways
to home the dome.
