Mark Wagner Institution(s): OSU Instrument: Direct/Echelle Worked for 9 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the summary for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 2.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 2.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Equipment worked well. Network down Tue afternoon through part of Wed. Hence late filing of this report. Telescope really needs to be collimated. I had trouble getting a good focus. Cirrus clouds all night. Some general cleanup is need in the control room. Floor vacuumed. Caught the mouse but he got away out of the trap before I could throw him out the door. Would like to add a 2nd monitor to kilauea and can contribute a SBUS display card soon. 5-night run went well. Best I had with the 1.3-m. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2001 Apr 19 [15:38:29]
