MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Aug 27

Instrument: direct  echelle ccd 

Worked for 6 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 1:30 until .
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Telescope dome and instrument all OK
 
Spent night on tests of flat fielding problems.
Found a number of paths for scattered light to reach
the detector. Also found the chimney baffle vignettes
CCD over whole field.
