MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Dec 14 Observer(s): Tavarez Institution(s): University of Michigan Instrument: Direct + Echelle Worked for 2 hours (part of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 8 pm until dawn. Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate Mid: Overcast, Winds Moderate, some sleet End: Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Moderate, some sleet Observing Summary: At the start of the night's observations, saw condensation on dewar window. I connected the dry Nitrogen line to the purge. Opened briefly & took sky flats to monitor condensation problem. By 8pm it was completely overcast & so I closed.
