MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Feb 21

Worked for 11 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the summary for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

We have tried to fix the focus problem on the spectrograph
reported yesterday. We measured line widths in a Ne arc for
different settings of the spectrograph focus and tilt values.
We found a satisfactory setting to be focus=3748 tilt=0, giving
a relatively uniform focus along dispersion. The instrument
previously was at focus=3918 tilt=25. We will experiment again 
next afternoon.
