MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Jan 06

Worked for 11 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the summary for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing ~1.3 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing ~1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing ~1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Observation: Deep imaging of 2 spiral galaxies
Problems: RA DEC encorder and Dome encorder problems encountered.
  (1) RA DEC encorder: Mr. Gerrady helped and solved.
  (2) Dome encorder: Disabled for more than 4 hours and  auto-
      matically  cured!
