MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Jan 11

Worked for 9 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the summary for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Winds all night.
   Beg: Clear, Winds High
   Mid: Clear, Winds High
   End: Overcast, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Very heavy winds (gusting to ~30 mph) all night.  By about 3 it started to cloud up.

Problem: after several hours of operation, the tv guider began 
to randomly move stars out of the box by moving the telescope 
by large amounts.  I tried rebooting, which solved the problem for 
~30 min, then it happened again.  I rebooted >10 times, and the 
problem persisted.
