MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Jan 18

Worked for 8 hours (off and on through the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the summary for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Winds from 8 until 1.
   Beg: Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate
   End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Problem: TIFKAM stopped talking to Prospero.  Spent several hours
on the phone with Jerry Mason and finally fixed the problem--
not sure what was wrong.

Encountered same problem with wind as last week--with winds >15mph,
observing is very difficult as images are often blurred.

Later, high cirrus and/or haze interfered with observing.  Took 
flats instead.
