MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Jun 01

Worked for 9.0 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

One of the best nights ever.  Lower temperatures apparently
improved the seeing.  Throughout the night several short
exposures were obtained with sub-arcsecond seeing.

The 4-inch U filter, after being cleaned of its adhesive residue,
is performing well enough, with approximately 6 percent loss of
throughput, according to duplicated standard star measurements.
The filter wheel is performing well mechanically.  I have not
yet tested the performance of flats and darks, but I see no
obvious problems.
