MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Jun 07 Observer(s): Jules Halpern Institution(s): Columbia U. Instrument: Echelle CCD Direct Worked for 9 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Did an all-sky test of the collimation by taking out-of-focus images in various directions. Observed bright stars in nine directions with focus 500 units out, then repeated with focus 500 units in. Some examples are posted in control room. Collimation looks good in all directions.
