MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Jun 18 Observer(s): Aaron Dotter Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Nellie Worked for 8 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 4-5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: The night began with excellent seeing (~1 ) but at about midnight conditions changed. Although it was difficult to tell from looking at the stars with the naked eye, it appeared that some clouds were present. Satellite images did show a large body of clouds in the vicinity. Shortly thereafter the wind picked up and seeing went south. It deteriorated to 4-5 and it became impossible to image the fields.
