MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Mar 09

Instrument: MKIII + echelle

Worked for 1 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Moderate
   End: Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Cloudy most of the day, but cleared off near sunset. Humidity
was high, however, and low level clouds came and went several
times until around midnight when the humidity stayed above
90%. Got the instrument setup but no real data taken.

Neon bulb in MIS died. Will replace tomorrow.
