MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Mar 11

Worked for 5.5 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Observed main targets SN 2001B and 2000ew. SN 2000ew was
too faint to observe, esp. with clouds coming and going
every 10-20 minutes. Had to use a blind off-set and hand guide.
After 3 hrs of this, got only a poor spectrum. Data on SN 2001B
seriously compromised due to broken drop-out...was using only
1/3rd of the mirror. Due to continued clouds, closed up at 1am.
