MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Nov 08

Worked for 9 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 2.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

intermittent problems with filter wheel over the night,
 especially in switching between R and I.

tried various techniques:  powering off MIS worked after several
 tries, moving the telescope by several hours worked once. About 3 
AM a stuck position responded to none of these. Closed down,
 filter wheel then initialized.
