MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Nov 13 Observer(s): Jason Pinkney & Monique Aller Institution(s): University of Michigan Instrument: CCD Direct (Echelle) Worked for 12.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: It was a very productive night. We imaged 9 nearby galaxies in B and R! We also took Landolts at the beginning middle and end of the night just in case. We could only ask for a little better seeing, although 1.3 isn't bad for the 1.3-m. The only frustration with the equipment was the set speed, which worked intermitantly. North was worse than South at the set speed. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2001 Nov 14 [6:29:29]
