MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Oct 28

Worked for 11 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Cirrus all over early on.  Zenith cleared, but horizon still had a mix
of wisps and patches.  Too bad I was trying to grab things nearer horizon. 

Telescope slewer makes and odd shuddering noise (can hear it in dome, not computer room)
when using the set button to move dec.
