MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2002 Nov 08

Worked for 9 hours (last half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

When starting detcom for evening encountered same problem as evening of 11/05/02.  2nd board failing link test and message
read failed: Resource temporarily unavailable
appeared in detcom every 20 seconds or so.
Problem would not go away until etna was shutdown and restarted, followed by turning on instrument power supplies, and then begining detcom.
Lost 40 minutes to this problem.
overcast then light clouds begining 9pm until morning.
