MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 Apr 11

Instrument: MkIII spectrograph

Worked for 7 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing <1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light &amp; Variable
   Mid: Seeing <1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light &amp; Variable
   End: Seeing <1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

A difficult start because of a minor problem
with the guider camera: optics was misaligned
and the wrong slit was showing up on the monitor.
Problem was corrected at 10PM, and observations were 
then carried out over the rest of the night. 
Obtained spectra for 24 high proper motion stars in
marginal conditions due to some haze and cirrus clouds.
