MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 Apr 16 Observer(s): S. Lepine, D. McCourt Institution(s): Columbia/AMNH Instrument: MkIII Spectrograph Worked for 5 hours (off and on through the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 11PM until 4AM. Beg: Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Overcast, Winds Moderate End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: Clear at the start of the night. Heavy cirrus clouds moved in at 11PM. Then it was overcast until 3AM. At 3AM we resumed observations by getting targets through holes in the cloud cover, then sky cleared up around 4AM. Observed total of 19 candidate nearby stars.
