Closed 2.5 hours early (4am.) Hope you guys all know 'Where Have All the Flowers Gone?'. 'Where Have All Tonight's Stars Gone?' (To be sung quietly, with an air of deep melancholy and chagrin, while strumming woefully on an acoustic guiter.) Where have all tonight's stars gone? Long time passing Where have all tonight's stars gone? Long time ago Where have all tonight's stars gone? Cruel clouds have hid them, every one. Oh, when will their stay adjourn? Oh, when will their stay adjourn? Will this haze be now 'til dawn Still amassing? Will this haze be now 'til dawn Hovering low? Will this haze be now 'til dawn Ceasing my cv's nightly run? Or shall shy sparkles return? Or shall shy sparkles return? Well, all hope is not foregone; It's surpassing Time, until the night's withdrawn. This much I know. I still have eight hours long Until darkness fades to Sun. Til then I'll beg, pray, and yearn For my lost starlight to burn. *Where has all my patience gone? It ain't lasting. Where has all my patience gone? It's ceased to grow. Where has all my patience gone? Those damn clouds stole it, just for fun! (Oh, when will I ever learn? Oh, when will I ever learn?) (* Note: 6-hour time gap between stanzas 3 and 4.) ------------------------------ Submitted on 2003 Dec 20 [4:05:07]
