MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 Dec 21 Observer(s): eve armstrong Institution(s): columbia Instrument: templeton/direct Worked for 11 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Time series photometry. Great weather, made some beautiful plots Closed 2 hrs early to get some sleep. 'Quiet' No scuttle of a scorpion beneath my footsteps here. No daddy longlegs in the kitchen sink drain does appear. No rattle or a slither of a poisoned asp to fear. It sure gets quiet 'round these parts at this time of the year. 'Tis still and stark out in the dark beneath the crystal sky. No winds to whine, no moon to shine, no wildcat to cry. Such tranquilizing solitude; I rue its end is nigh. Ah well, I'm done. It's sure been fun. Until next time, g'bye! ------------------------------ Submitted on 2003 Dec 22 [3:53:39]
