MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 Dec 30 Observer(s): Katz, Armstrong, Halpern Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: Templeton Direct Worked for 8 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 2.3 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds High End: Overcast, Winds High Observing Summary: Time series of cataclysmic variable. Increasing clouds throughout the night. Gave up at 4:00am. Halpern revised the 1.3m telescope manual, which is now more up-to-date than the 2.4m manual. New version has been placed on the mountain web page, and a paper copy in the binder in the control room.
