MY NEW FRIENDS To the spider who crawls 'round the floor And won't touch a wall or a door: You seem quite confused 'Bout the turf you should choose. What on earth do you traipse down there for? To the ladybugs who, as I'd feared, Have precipitously just appeared: Why don't we make a deal - I will not scream or squeal If from the indoors you steer clear. To the scorpion under my bed: Would you mind kindly moving your stead? I don't mean to sound cruel, But by vacating, you'll Help to placate the dreams in my head. To the goblin who lives in the dome: Would you mind leaving tracking alone? See, I'd like to observe GO Comae's light curve, And this mischief I cannot condone. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2003 Jun 30 [3:24:15]
