MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 Nov 01 Observer(s): Bureau, Kamphuis Institution(s): Columbia, Groningen Instrument: Echelle, f/7.6 Direct Imaging Worked for 5.5 hours (first half of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Fog from 00:30 until 07:00. Beg: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Calm End: Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: We continued our optical imaging of the Sauron survey early-type galaxies. We worked only for the first half of the night, and mostly with/through scattered cirrus, although a couple of hours were quite clear. The humidity then rose and fog/low-clouds came.
