MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 Nov 17

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Winds all night.
   Beg: Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Clear, Winds Moderate
   End: Clear, Winds High

Observing Summary:

The slowest telescope movement controls in the North-South 
direction stopped functioning--for the guider and the hand
paddles. About an hour was lost diagnosing the problem, but
the rest of the night was completed using 'set' motions when
targets got out of alignment. East-West guiding and controls
continued to work normally. Dewar filled at 6:30.
