MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 Sep 30

Worked for 5 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Failure of tracking delayed are start by about one hour.  Also,
the tracking failed at northerly declinations, above about 60
degrees.  There was no east-west guide rate.

Clouds rolled in about midnight, and conditions were spotty
after that.  We gave up at 2 am.
