MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Dec 17 Observer(s): Tuttle Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: Direct/Echelle Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 2.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 2.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Although the seeing was reasonable at the start of the night, it got quite bad as the night progressed. I'm guessing it was thin high clouds, but thats only a guess. PS? Our congress people should argue in public as much as parlimentarians in England. Its enough to get me through the long nights. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2004 Dec 18 [6:48:01]
