MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Jan 03 Observer(s): armstrong, gemdjian Institution(s): columbia Instrument: templeton/direct Worked for 5.5 hours (last half of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Overcast, Winds Calm, high humidity Mid: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm End: Seeing 3.0 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: finally opened!! humidity fell below 80% by 10pm; clouds dispersed enough to start observing at 12:30. got a long time series on DW Cnc, but it's of very poor quality. 'Finally!' You won't believe your ears, you guys, You won't believe it's true ... Yet I must tell you (nope, no lies): I've got some work to do! I'd nearly lost my hope there, Joe; Had gotten in a funk ... Now I'm a-trackin' Cancri, though I fear the light curve's junk. The clouds are still a-racin', And the guider's oft upset.
