MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Jan 03

Worked for 5.5 hours (last half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Calm, high humidity
   Mid: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 3.0 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

finally opened!!  humidity fell below 80% by 10pm; clouds
dispersed enough to start observing at 12:30.  got a long time
series on DW Cnc, but it's of very poor quality.

You won't believe your ears, you guys,
You won't believe it's true ...
Yet I must tell you (nope, no lies):
I've got some work to do!

I'd nearly lost my hope there, Joe; 
Had gotten in a funk ...
Now I'm a-trackin' Cancri, though
I fear the light curve's junk.

The clouds are still a-racin',
And the guider's oft upset.
The comp's got variation
That could outdo ES Cet!
