MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Jan 06 Observer(s): armstrong, gemdjian Institution(s): columbia Instrument: templeton/direct Worked for 11.5 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: The night started off clear; was anticipating a smooth night. But clouds moved in around 21:00 and grew increasingly annoying for the rest of the night. At 4am I stopped integrations in order to avoid hitting the north pier. Found that the past ~ 30 images were useless anyway. No other objects to look at that would survive this well, so I'm closing now. Seeing stayed great all night, despite the clouds. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2004 Jan 7 [4:07:48]
