MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Jan 30

Worked for 12 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.9 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 1.9 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

8K failed communication with 2nd board after a few sky flats.
Required Etna reboot to correct.
Much later in the night warning message
No DON (0x00dead) after readout from PCI board 1; pixels may be missing
Required power off instrument and detcom detach to correct.
lost total 45 minutes with these problems.  
Able to get 8K working fine after each of these issues.

First half photometric, then clouds came in and wind picked up.
