MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Nov 18 Observer(s): Sheets Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Mark III + Templeton Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 11pm until 3am. Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Observed all night, except for about an hour at the end. Had clouds drifting through from time to time. I'm very pleased the pointing tonight. Using the point13m program, I landed on pretty much every field with no trouble. At the end of the night, when I tried to get flux stds and band stars, the strange reflection I noticed back in June seemed to be back. It washes out the entire upper portion of the field. I noticed some other strange reflections, which I'll detail in the trouble report. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2004 Nov 19 [6:31:45]
