MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Oct 15 Observer(s): D. Grupe, K. Leighly, R. Biesemeyer Institution(s): OSU + Univ. of Oklahoma Instrument: Direct + Templeton Worked for 9 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 3.0 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm End: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Pretty lousy night with lots of clouds. Managed to get at least three rounds of data on our main target PHL 1092 plus some data on some additional sources. Not great but got at least something. Closed dome at 23:20 due to thick clouds. We watched the movie 'Okie Noodleing'. Reopened dome at 00:43 and started observing through clouds.
