MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Oct 31

Worked for 12.5 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Winds from 12AM until 6:30.
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Computer 'hill' unresponsive, wouldn't boot -- disk crash?
Network slow.

Clear 1st half but seeing degraded rapidly (1.5  --> 3+ )
Calm at beginning but steady ~20mph wind after midnight.

Wispy clouds blew by at 1:30, otherwise clear.
