MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Sep 08 Observer(s): Zosia Krusberg Institution(s): Dartmouth College Instrument: Templeton Worked for 5 hours (last half of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 6pm until 12am. Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Cloudy until midnight, then it cleared up. A good chunk of time was spent focusing and pointing, but was able to get a good 4 hours of observing in. The RA drifts continuously to the east. This prevented me from making any long exposures, since after about a minute, the stars began to look like long ellipses. Otherwise everything was working fine. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2004 Sep 9 [6:14:16]
