MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Sep 14 Observer(s): Zosia Krusberg Institution(s): Dartmouth College Instrument: Templeton Worked for 9 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, High humidity. End: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Photometric sky all night. Seeing was pretty bad throughout, had some high humidity in the middle of the night, and random gushes of strong wind. However, overall a decent night of observing. Almost had a heart attack when the mouse that had been sneaking around throughout the night got caught in a trap placed less than a meter from my feet. A necessary evil, I suppose, but watching the little thing die was not a pleasant experience. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2004 Sep 15 [5:58:33]
