MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 Apr 15

Instrument: Direct Imaging, f/7.6, echelle

Worked for 10:00 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Continuation of an optical imaging follow-up of the Sauron sample of
early-type galaxies. The entire night was again essentially perfect,
photometric from beginning to end, although the seeing was average
(typically 1.4 -1.8 ). We continued to obtain long/deep images of our
targets and only a few remains, ticking 6 more galaxies off our
list. We should be done with those long exposures with only one other
good night.

No technical problem whatsoever to report.
