MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 Jan 05

Worked for 6 hours (off and on through the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity from 5pm until 9 pm.
   Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Opened the dome slit at 9 pm (local) after the humidity
dropped below the limit; no dropping ices/waters observed
while opening the dome.

Moved the telescope to various azimuths and altitudes
with mirror covered on and baffle covered on; this was
done becasue there was a little amount of dripping water
from the telescope to the floor when I first
moved the telescope from the originally parked position.

Shutter failed to close at the midnight; see the trouble
report. Resumed the observation after 1.5 hours.
