MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 Jan 18

Worked for 13 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Light cirrus at beginning of night; otherwise clear.

 
 Skycalcdisp.py is a Slice of Sunshine 

 A prolific programmer named John
 Has unleashed a new code, whereupon
 We can track sky progress
 (In full color, no less!)
 From the set of the Sun straight through dawn.

 What's the airmass?  (the block shaded yellow.)
 Where's the moon - is it glaring or mellow?
 John responds to these questions
 In Hill's skycalc sessions;
 A quite innovational fellow!
