MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 Jan 28

Worked for 12 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity from 4:45 until close.
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Things were fine and clear until ~3 AM, when the telescope `got lost'.
We tried resetting using bright stars,  and then the tilt meters
following the manual instructions. But it didnt point to the bright
star correctly when we tried again, still off by 15s of RA. Then
at 4:45 the 2.4m observer informed he was shut down for humidity
so we closed.
