MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 May 30

Instrument: Apogee Alta U1 CCD

Worked for 7 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Last night(May29), during the observation, I found  Watchdog was reset  
on the  Kilauea  screen and move mouse no response, 
keyboard no response either. The  Kilauea  was freezing. 
I continue observing without any affect from  Kilauea . 
I was thinking to Leave this problem to Bob. 
But I did not see Bob and other staffs because today is the 
memorial day. Around 5pm of today (May30, Monday) I tried to 
 stop+A  and re-boot the computer following the manual. 

It failed to startup. Then I called Bob and report the booting 
problem. Later Bob came to check. 
Hard disk has a problem need to be fixed.
Other instrument worked properly.
