MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Apr 05 Observer(s): Aiying Zhou Institution(s): Missouri State Univ. Instrument: Apogee Alta U47+ CCD Worked for 4 hours (part of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Calm, before 21:00pm Mid: Overcast, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm, after 2:40am Observing Summary: At beginning it was clear, but about 21:00pm clouds showed up. 21:15pm went outside, no star visible in the sky. It's fully overcast. Stop observing. The sky became clear after 02:40am. Pointing to OGLE-109, but it took me a long time to identify the target (in fact it is in the field but too faint to be visible even at exposure time of 180 seconds). This microlensing target is the hardest to identify so far for me. So only obtained several images at the times near day break. Telescope and other instruments worked properly. No problem encountered. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2006 Apr 6 [7:35:52]
