MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Aug 24

Instrument: MkIII spectrograph + Wilbur

Worked for 5 hours (part of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable, high humidity

Observing Summary:

Very wet day yesterday, with major flash floods in the Phoenix 
area. Thankfully, all the rain has stopped in the afternoon, but 
it was still overcast at sunset. Clouds cleared up gradually and 
were mostly gone by 10PM. I opened up then, and resumed the 
spectroscopic program. Nailed 24 targets in 5 hours' work. 
Closed down at 3PM because of high humidity.
