MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Dec 31

Worked for 12 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 21:00 until dawn.
   Beg: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Opened on time (!!!) and observed under increasingly unfriendly clouds,
until several hours' worth of bad data convinced me to close at 5:30.
Decent seeing, low humidity.  No trouble.

Was working on a poem, but it was a merciless rant about my rental 
car.  Then I remembered what day it was, and decided it wasn't 
fitting for a cheery holiday.  Sorry.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
