MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Feb 14 Observer(s): Bentz and Denney Institution(s): OSU Instrument: CCDS Worked for 8 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 7:00p until 10:30. Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: The evening started out with patchy clouds and cirrus, but cleared up around 10:30pm. The wind was somewhat gusty and at various RA+Decs was blowing the telescope around. We obtained spectra of NGC4151 and NGC5548 at our 3 grating settings, and had a little time left over at the end of the night to attempt SN2006X again. The seeing was better than before, but the wind certainly didn't help. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2006 Feb 15 [6:36:20]
