MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Jan 27 Observer(s): S. Lepine Institution(s): AMNH Instrument: MkIII + Wilbur Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Excellent first night for our spectroscopic follow up program of candidate Solar Neighborhood red dwarfs. 39 stars done, 990 to go. But it was cold. An windy at first. The wind went down around 11pm but the humidity the shoot up to 65%. The cold humid air was of the kind that seeps through your clothes.
