MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Jan 28 Observer(s): S. Lepine, K. Cruz Institution(s): AMNH Instrument: MkIII Spectrograph + Wilbur Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: K. Cruz arrived today. We worked all night and observed 51 more targets. There were a few bands of cirrus clouds which affected the counts at times. But thanks to the dark new moon sky, we had not trouble finding and placing the targets on the slit. Thanfully, this night was not as cold as yesterday's, and the humidity stayed low. Much more confortable in the dome. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2006 Jan 29 [7:36:41]
